Kush Shah, the actor from the popular show “Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma,” recently opened up about his childhood struggles. He talked about how being overweight made his school life difficult. Shah shared his experiences with body shaming and how it affected him.
As a child, Shah faced bullying because of his weight. He said, “Imagine being an overweight kid in a regular Indian school. People won’t let you live in peace.” Despite the challenges, Shah managed to cope because of his popularity. However, he still faced negative comments about his weight.
Shah also remembered his co-star from the show, Kavi Kumar Azad, who played the role of Dr. Hathi. Azad passed away in 2018. Shah said, “When Azad uncle left us, I didn’t cry. I wondered why I wasn’t emotional, but then I realized my way of showing grief is different. I don’t cry, but I think about him often.”
Shah shared some fond memories of Azad, saying he was a great poet and a kind person. He also talked about Azad’s business venture, Kusum Rolls, which he started because he loved the food. Shah said, “He’s no longer with us, but he settled his family. They’re all very loving people. He was a great human being, and I love him.”
Shah’s conversation highlighted the importance of being kind and understanding towards others, especially those who face body shaming and bullying. His story serves as a reminder that everyone has their own struggles and that empathy can go a long way in making a positive impact.
