Everything is ready for the opening this Friday of the Kurash international championships and seminars, contests in which 13 athletes will participate and which will last until December 15.
From the arrival this Thursday, throughout the day, of the participating delegations and members of the International Kurash Association (IKA), which will be headed by its general secretary and technical director, Mahamed Reza Nassiri, will mark the start of the event.
While on December 9 and 10 the development of the arbitration technical seminar is scheduled at the Walac hotel in Boca Chica.
On December 11, the Pan-American championships will be held in the children’s, youth and adult categories, both male and female, to be held at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, an event in which athletes from Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, will participate. Haiti, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and the United States, likewise, the locals of the Dominican Republic.
On the occasion, international arbitration exams will be held, where the host country will have several candidates.
On the 12th and 13th, the activities return to Boca Chica for the training seminar and grade systems.
On the afternoon of December 13, the Open International Kurash Beach Tournament will take place, a day that will include the participation of visiting delegations and local Dominicans.
The information was offered by the Executive Committee of the Dominican Kurash Federation, (Fedokurash), which is chaired by Professor Israel Caraballo Jiménez, an entity that has the endorsement of the Pan-American Kurash Union, whose main executive Jaime Casanova, Dominican .
