The Senior Men’s Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the team for the three-format series to be played on the tour of South Africa on the evening of November 30. Additionally, the selectors have also announced the India A team for the two four-day matches to be played before the start of the Test series on this tour. The responsibility of captaining this team has been given to the wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat, who is not part of the team for the Test series. Different teams were announced for both games, with Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar also featured in the second game.

If we talk about the Indian A team announced for the South Africa tour, Sarfaraz Khan and Sai Sudarshan have also been included in the team. Both players have a long history of outstanding performances in domestic cricket. Furthermore, Devdutt Padikkal will also be part of the team in the first match. If we talk about the second four-day unofficial Test match, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Verma, Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Navdeep Saini will also be part of the team. The first match of the Indian A team will be played from December 11 to 14, while the second match will be played from December 26 to 29. The senior team will play their first game of the two-match Test series on this tour at the Centurion Grounds from December 26-30.
