After the tour of South Africa (SA), the Indian team (IND) will play a three-match ODI and T20 series with the West Indies (WI) starting next month. The Caribbean team will visit India in the coming days. The ODI series between India and West Indies will start from February 6. Recently, the BCCI published the schedule for the ODI and T20 series. Strict protocols will be followed in this series that will be played between the Kovid-19 infection in the country and the players of both teams will remain in the biobubble. The Indian team’s tour of Africa did not go well and the team had to face defeat in the Test ODI series. Against the West Indies, the team would like to start the series by recording their first win of the year.

The first match of the ODI series between India and West Indies will be played on February 6. The second one-day match will be played on February 9 and the third on February 11. All matches in the series will be played at the Ahmedabad Stadium. Previously, the venues for these matches were different, but in view of the Corona situation, the BCCI decided to host the ODI series at the same venue. All matches will be played from 1:30 pm India time.

Following the ODI series, a three-match T20 series between India and West Indies will also be played. The first T20 match will be played on February 16. While the second game will be played on February 18 and the third on February 20. All matches in the series will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Due to Kovid-19, the T20 series will also be played in the same stadium.

The BCCI is yet to announce the Indian team for the ODI and T20 series against the West Indies. Soon the team will be selected by the board. The performance of the Indian team in the South African tour was disappointing, in such a situation BCCI can include many new faces in the team against the West Indies. Many players who fail on African soil can be eliminated from the team.
