Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed this Sunday that Diogo Jota will be out of action for 6 to 8 weeks, meaning maybe two months, only to return to competition in February.
The Portuguese Footballer, who was in excellent form with 9 goals, was injured on Wednesday against Midtjylland, with the coach saying the injury is more serious than initially thought, but that surgery will not be necessary.
“It is worse than we initially thought, but better than it looked after. It was observed and the doctors concluded that surgery would not be necessary, but he will have to stay awhile”, he told Sky Sports before the game with Fulham.
“We don’t know for sure, but it will be about a month and a half, two months. It was strange, but the final diagnosis turns out not to be too bad, ”he concluded.
