Klassen, Head Smash Records as Hyderabad Posts IPL’s Third-Highest Total

The Sunrisers Hyderabad made history with a massive score of 278 runs, thanks to explosive innings from Henrik Klassen and Travis Head. Klassen smashed 105 runs off 39 balls, while Head made 76 runs off 40 balls.

Their batting was relentless, taking down the Kolkata Knight Riders’ bowlers. Klassen hit 7 fours and 9 sixes, while Head hit 6 fours and 6 sixes. Abhishek Sharma started strong with 32 runs off 16 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Fastest Century

Klassen reached his century in just 37 balls, making him the fastest Sunrisers Hyderabad player to reach 100 runs. This century is also the third-fastest in IPL history.

Powerplay Performance

The powerplay saw Hyderabad score 79 runs without losing a wicket. The first wicket fell at 92 runs in 6.5 overs. Klassen was sent in at number three and made an instant impact, reaching his half-century in 17 balls and his century in 37 balls.
