KL Rahul and Shardul Thakur land on crease, Indian team would like to score big

Today is the fourth day of the first test match between India and South Africa at Centurion. At the end of the game on the third day, the Indian team scored 16 runs for the loss of 1 ground in the second inning, taking a 146-run lead against South Africa. India had scored 327 runs in the first innings, in response to which South Africa was out for 197 runs. India gained a 130-run lead in the first innings. The India team soon lost their first ground in the second inning, when Mayank Agarwal scored 4 runs and was caught by Marco Jensen. At the end of the game on the third day, India scored 16 runs in 6 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. KL starter Rahul 5 and Night Watch man Shardul Thakur are present in the crease scoring 4 runs.

On the third day, the India team started playing 272 runs for 3 wickets, but the South African bowlers performed well and took the team out of 327 runs. The Indian hitters lost seven wickets for 55 runs in the first session. In the first innings, KL Rahul scored 123 runs on 260 balls and Ajinkya Rahane scored 48 runs on 102 balls for India. For South Africa, Lungi Ngidi took 6 and Kagiso Rabada took three wickets.

South Africa also didn’t start well after India did it all, as Jasprit Bumrah sacked captain Dean Elgar in the first over. In the early innings, Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets while pitching deadly, reducing the Africa team to 197 runs. Temba Bavuma scored 52 runs for Proteas. Apart from Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur took two windows each. While Mohammad Siraj got a window.
