Kim Jong Un Deploys 3,000 More North Korean Soldiers to Russia

Military tensions are escalating. Kim Jong Un has ordered 3,000 more North Korean soldiers to Russia. They’ll fight alongside Russian troops in Ukraine.

This move has raised concerns. If Russia and North Korea work together more closely, Russia might share advanced weapon technology with North Korea. This would be a trade for the extra troops.

Since October, North Korea has sent around 11,000 soldiers to Russia. About 4,000 of them have died. In addition to troops, North Korea has also been sending Russia weapons and equipment, including short-range missiles, bullets, and rocket launchers.

South Korea’s military says North Korea is working on a new military spy satellite. There’s no sign of an imminent launch, though. Meanwhile, South Korea has spotted security cameras installed near the military demarcation line. This isn’t a direct threat, but South Korea is keeping a close eye on the situation.

North Korea has also been removing power lines and communication towers along the Kyongui railway. This is a sign of cutting ties with South Korea. So far, 11 towers have been removed.
