Kim Clijsters continues her adventure back to the professional women’s circuit at 38 years old. After spending the entire year 2021 in white, the veteran Belgian tennis player will compete again in the Chicago Fall Tennis Classic (September 27 – October 3), WTA 500 category tournament, after having received an invitation for it.
It will be the first time we see Clijsters in action in competition in 2021 as, after announcing his return to professional tennis at the beginning of the 2020 season after hanging up the racket in 2012, The Belgian has not competed since last year’s US Open, when she fell in three sets to Russia’s Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Now, with the world of tennis almost completely back to normal, Kim Clijsters wants to show again on the slopes at 38 years old the level that made him become one of the great rackets in the world and that led him to win the 2011 Australian Open and three US Open titles in 2005, 2009 and 2010.
