Kiku Sharda: Not Leaving Kapil Sharma Show; New Season Coming Soon

Comedian Kiku Sharda has addressed widespread rumors regarding his departure from “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show.” He confirmed that the popular comedy program is preparing to resume filming soon.

Sharda explicitly denied claims that he was leaving the series. He asserted his strong connection to the show and its team members.

Production for the new season will begin shortly, Sharda told India Today. While an exact broadcast date for television is not yet set, he suggested it could air sometime in November.

The rumors of his exit began circulating while Sharda was participating in the reality show “Rise and Fall,” hosted by Ashneer Grover. He expressed surprise at how these speculations originated.

Sharda emphasized his long-term commitment to the show and its lead, Kapil Sharma. He noted that he has worked with Kapil for 13 years.

He added that he had turned down other professional opportunities to remain a part of the comedy ensemble. Sharda finds immense joy in performing on stage and engaging with audiences and celebrities, an experience he is unwilling to abandon.

His time on “Rise and Fall” offered a different creative challenge. Sharda explained that comedy provides significant relief and entertainment in an often-stressful environment.

He feels a sense of freedom when performing comedy. This shared experience with the audience is what continues to motivate him.
