In the letter, Sudeepa expressed his admiration for the Indian armed forces’ successful execution of “Operation Sindoor.” The operation was carried out in response to a terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed 26 lives.

Sudeepa praised PM Modi’s strong stance and the actions taken by the Indian defense forces. He wrote, “Today, I am writing to you not just as a grateful son but as a proud Indian. I am writing with deep appreciation as the nation celebrates the success of Operation Sindoor.” The actor highlighted that the operation was not just a reaction but a statement to the world that India does not back down, forget, or falter.

The actor commended the bravery and discipline displayed by the armed forces under PM Modi’s leadership. Background of India-Pakistan Tensions
The tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In response, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor on the night of May 7-8, targeting nine terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan. The operation marked a significant move by India to counter terrorism.

Amidst the escalating tensions, US President Joe Biden facilitated a “complete and immediate ceasefire” agreement between India and Pakistan. India’s Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, reaffirmed that India would continue its unwavering stance against terrorism.
