Following the integration of its operations in Spain and Portugal, Kiabi has made key appointments to solidify its presence in the Iberian market. The new leadership team, led by Jose Luis Carceller, is committed to driving growth through digitalization, expansion, and diversification.
Enhancing Customer Experience through Omnichannel Strategy
Mirko Peloso has been appointed as the Head of Marketing and Digital for Spain and Portugal. With over 13 years of experience in key roles, Peloso will lead the marketing and digital transformation strategy in both markets, focusing on optimizing the omnichannel experience and enhancing e-commerce.
Peloso’s mission is to integrate online and offline channels to provide a seamless customer shopping experience, driving growth and expansion in the Iberian market. He will report directly to Mercedes Porro, ensuring strategic alignment with Kiabi’s global objectives.

Maria Valverde has joined Kiabi as the Head of Real Estate Portugal & Business Development, bringing her expertise from leading companies in the real estate sector. Valverde will lead expansion initiatives in Portugal, exploring new growth opportunities and consolidating Kiabi’s presence in the market.
Valverde will report to Mercedes Porro, working closely with key partners in the real estate sector to accelerate Kiabi’s development in the region.
