Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly received a threat from the Khalistani organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). The group has demanded the cancellation of his upcoming music concert in Australia.
SFJ, led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, specifically called for the November 1 concert to be shut down. The organization claims Dosanjh’s actions have insulted victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh genocide.
According to media reports, SFJ alleges Dosanjh insulted every victim, widow, and orphan of the 1984 Sikh massacre. This alleged insult occurred when he touched the feet of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on the television show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’.
SFJ further accused Amitabh Bachchan of publicly inciting violence on December 31, 1984. The organization claims Bachchan used the slogan “blood for blood” during this period. SFJ states this incitement led to the deaths of many Sikhs across India.
