India-A Takes Control Against England Lions
India-A is in the driver’s seat after the England Lions’ first innings folded for 327 runs. KL Rahul’s dominant century had powered India-A to 348 runs in their first innings, giving them a 21-run lead. Khaleel Ahmed was the wrecking ball for India-A, picking up 4 wickets.
At the end of day two, England Lions had reached 192/3. However, their innings imploded on day three, losing 5 wickets for just 24 runs. From 219/3, they slumped to 243/8.
The last two wickets added 84 runs, with Farhan Ahmed scoring 24 and Josh Tong remaining unbeaten on 36. Eddie Jack, the number 11 batsman, contributed 16 runs.
