The highly anticipated film “Kesari: Chapter 2” starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan is set to release on April 18. Before its release, the makers organized a special screening in New Delhi on April 15, which was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Both leaders praised the film after watching it.

She urged viewers to honor the sacrifices made by drawing inspiration from the film.
Hardeep Singh Puri also expressed his emotions on X, stating that the film sheds light on a lesser-known aspect of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He felt a mix of sadness and pride while watching the story of Barrister Shankar Nair, which he believes strengthens the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat.”
Rahul Sharma, the husband of actress Asin, who co-starred with Akshay Kumar in “Khiladi 786” and “Housefull 2,” also attended the screening. He praised the film, saying it deserves a National Award. On X, he wrote that the movie revealed the harsh reality of the Jallianwala Bagh incident, leaving him deeply emotional. He commended Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan for their outstanding performances.
