Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes have rekindled their relationship after a brief separation, according to sources speaking exclusively to Us Weekly. The couple is reportedly "giving their relationship another go."
"There’s still a lot of love between them, so they picked up right where they left off," one source shared.
Earlier this month, Ballerini, 31, and Stokes, 33, were spotted together near Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. An eyewitness exclusively confirmed their presence to Us.
Gemma Kennedy described meeting Stokes on October 13. She noted the actor was on vacation before heading to Croatia to film the final season of Outer Banks.
Kennedy observed Ballerini and Stokes at Cannonball Restaurant & Bar. She said they "seemed like the sweetest people" and "were very in love and holding hands."
Representatives for Ballerini and Stokes were contacted for comment. Neither star has publicly addressed the status of their relationship.
This affectionate outing occurred just two months after Us confirmed the couple’s previous breakup. Their initial split followed two years of dating.
"It was a difficult breakup," another source told Us at the time. The couple had been arguing frequently due to poor communication.
Extensive travel commitments contributed to their disagreements. Ballerini reportedly initiated the conversation about ending the relationship.
Sources indicated both handled the situation maturely. Ballerini was still processing her 2022 divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans. She was not in a place to settle, and Stokes understood.
Ballerini and Stokes were first linked in January 2023. The singer sent the actor a direct message on social media. She publicly confirmed their relationship a month later.
Ballerini recounted the story on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in February 2023. She simply messaged "@hichasestokes" saying, "Hi, Chase Stokes."
Reflecting on their connection in July, Ballerini told Us that she and Stokes continually challenge each other. "We challenge each other, or else it’s boring and that’s where we get stagnant, and that’s not going to work," she stated.
She highlighted their similarities and the ways their differences push them forward. "I just want all the good things in the world for him," Ballerini added.
