The messy separation between actor Scott Wolf and his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, just got a fresh layer of drama. Kelley, 48, is giving the world another peek into her money troubles, and it’s not looking good.
She recently shared a snapshot on her Instagram story. It showed her business bank account, under the name KW FLOW LLC, sitting at a negative balance. The account was overdrawn by a hefty $2,779.20. To top it off, a company card linked to the account had only $12 left on it. This public display happened on Wednesday, August 20.
This isn’t the first time Kelley has spoken out about her finances. Back on July 29, she posted on Instagram about being in a tough spot. She mentioned having "just $6 to my name." She even shared a raw story about nearly sleeping in her car. "Tonight I had two choices: sleep in my car — again — or use a room I had reserved in what used to be my favorite hotel in Utah," she wrote. "I chose neither. Because dignity matters." Kelley also claimed her brother was helping her out financially. She spoke about building a successful career as a consultant, but now felt like she was "within a system that tried to erase me."

The financial woes are just one part of a bigger legal battle. According to reports from Us Weekly on Wednesday, Kelley’s divorce lawyer has stepped down. This happened after Scott, 57, accused his estranged wife of making "disturbing and false allegations" against him. A Utah judge recently gave permission for Kelley’s attorney, Farrah Spencer, to stop representing her. Court documents show that Spencer and her law firm are "released from any and all future duties and responsibilities to [Kelley] in this case." The judge also directed that all future legal papers should be sent directly to Kelley’s personal email.
Scott, famous for his role on ‘Party of Five,’ spoke out about their ongoing divorce battle on Friday, August 15. In a statement to People, he shared his concerns. He stated that Kelley had "plans to ‘make claims’ about me." These claims reportedly included accusations of psychological abuse and putting children in danger. Scott firmly believes these claims are untrue. "My continuing hope is that this very difficult chapter in our family’s life remains as private as possible," he told People. He added, "however, the well-being of my children is at stake and will always be my priority." Scott called the situation "incredibly difficult and contentious." He said it was "tragic for everyone involved."
Kelley quickly responded to Scott’s statements in her own declaration to People. "I will be very clear in saying this: I do not believe Scott [abused our children]," she stated. She spoke openly about the impact this divorce has had on her. "I have lost my career, my reputation, my children, my integrity, my honor, my devotion to my marriage," she explained. "As a mother, I have literally lost everything except my life. I have done everything strategically and I have hope for my children." Scott and Kelley share three children.
