Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2” Premiere
South Indian superstar Allu Arjun faced a similar disaster. It happened during the premiere of his film, ‘Pushpa 2’. On December 4, he visited Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theater. Fans showed up in huge numbers, wanting a peek at him. The crowd was too much for the police to handle. A stampede followed. A woman died, and her child was badly hurt. The child received treatment at KIMS Hospital in Begumpet. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13. He appeared in Nampally Court and was sent to 14 days of judicial custody. Police questioned the actor for about three hours in a case of non-culpable homicide. His lawyers appealed to the High Court, and he got interim bail that very same day.

Junior NTR’s Event Led to a Fan’s Death
In 2013, a stampede also took place at the music launch for Junior NTR’s film, ‘Baadshah’. Many fans gathered there. The crowd became unruly, and a stampede started. Sadly, a fan of Junior NTR reportedly died. The actor met the fan’s family and gave them five lakh rupees. He then took full responsibility for their well-being. Junior NTR has been supporting this family financially for about 12 years now.

Shah Rukh Khan’s “Raees” Promotion
Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan experienced a similar situation in 2017. He was promoting his film ‘Raees’ and traveled by train from Mumbai to Delhi. When he reached Vadodara station in Gujarat, a huge number of fans showed up. A stampede occurred. One person died, and several others were injured. A criminal case was filed against Shah Rukh Khan following this incident.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” Event
Even recently, a stampede-like situation arose at an event for Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s 2024 film, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The event took place in Lucknow. Both stars showed off some action stunts to the crowd. People gathered at Ghantaghar Maidan. The audience lost control watching the aerial acts. This led to a near-stampede. Security guards reportedly used batons to break up the crowd.
