The film made a business of Rs 14.11 crore on the first day i.e. Friday. On the second day, Saturday, the film earned Rs 18.34 crore. On Sunday, two days after its release, there was a tremendous increase in the film’s gross and the film made a business of Rs 23.51 crore, grossing nearly three times. After this, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ earned Rs 55.96 crore in three days.

According to Taran Adarsh, Karthik has left many of his own films behind and has become the highest grossing film of the opening weekend. Karthik’s movie ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, released in the year 2019, made a business of Rs 35.94 crore in the first weekend. ‘Luka Chuppi’ made a business of Rs 32.13 crore. ‘Love Aaj Kal’, released in 2020, made a business of Rs 28.51 crore.
