The latest hit song, “Bijuria,” is taking over social media. Everyone is dancing to its catchy beat and making fun video reels. But two celebrity moms, Maheep Kapoor and Bhawana Pandey, drew a line. They flat-out refused to join the dance craze, even when pushed by filmmaker Karan Johar.
The song comes from the upcoming movie “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.” It stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Since its release, “Bijuria” has been a huge success. Fans and stars alike are grooving to it. However, Janhvi Kapoor’s aunt, Maheep Kapoor, and Ananya Pandey’s mother, Bhawana Pandey, decided they weren’t going to be part of this particular trend. Karan Johar, who produces the film, tried his best to convince them. Still, they wouldn’t dance to the song. Karan thought the whole thing was quite funny. He shared a video of their polite refusal online.
A Gentle “No” from Maheep and Bhawana
Karan Johar posted the video on his Instagram. It shows Maheep Kapoor, who is actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife, and Bhawana Pandey, who is actor Chunky Pandey’s wife, inside a lift. Karan was with them, filming their conversation. In the video, Karan asks them to dance to “Bijuria.” Both Maheep and Bhawana gently turn him down. Karan even reminded Maheep that it’s her niece Janhvi’s song. Maheep praised Janhvi’s performance but stood firm in her refusal to dance herself.

Karan’s Playful Challenge
As the lift ride continued, Maheep jokingly asked how much longer it would take. Karan then turned to Ananya’s mother, Bhawana. He teased them, “Your daughter danced so well to this song. Don’t you both think you’re capable of dancing?” The two women just smiled, still unwilling to break into a dance. Finally, they exited the lift, ending Karan’s playful persuasion.
Karan’s Instagram caption added another layer of humor to the whole situation. He wrote, “Reluctant Nepo Moms and Bollywood Wives. Maheep Kapoor and Bhawana Pandey are refusing to dance to ‘Bijuria.’ Varun and Janhvi, they need immediate classes from you.” It was a funny nod to their connection to the film world.

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor show off some amazing dance moves in the music video.
