Kanye West Sued for Sexual Assault, Sex Trafficking by Ex-Assistant Lauren Pisciotta

Lauren Pisciotta, once a key assistant to Kanye West, has now updated her lawsuit against the music mogul. The new legal documents accuse West, also known as Ye, of sexual assault and physical battery.

Pisciotta first took legal action against West, 48, in June 2024. At that time, her claims focused on sexual harassment and being fired unfairly. However, the amended complaint, filed recently and first reported by Us Weekly, expands the accusations. Pisciotta now also claims West created a hostile work environment, engaged in sexual assault, physical assault, sex trafficking, harassment, false imprisonment, and intentionally caused her emotional distress.

Court papers describe a troubling situation for Pisciotta. "Instead of boosting Ms. Pisciotta’s music career, Ye destroyed it," the documents state. They allege West made crude remarks about her body and demanded she wear tight clothes. He reportedly groped her often, forced her to watch him have sex with other women, and sent her explicit photos while asking for the same in return. Pisciotta claims he repeatedly asked her to join his sexual encounters, which she turned down.

The new filing includes shocking details. It claims West tried to vaginally penetrate Pisciotta with his fingers on one occasion. Another time, he allegedly orally raped her without her consent. Both these abuses reportedly happened while Pisciotta worked for him.

Pisciotta says West "terrorized and controlled" her for about two years. She believed he was offering her real chances to grow her career. She claims West abruptly fired her after she kept refusing his requests for sexual acts.

The lawsuit also says that even after her firing, West continued to bother and frighten her through assault, injury, and harassment. After she was dismissed, West allegedly moved into an apartment in the same building as her. This made Pisciotta fear for her safety. She claims West once held her tightly by the neck. When Pisciotta eventually moved to Florida to get away from him, the lawsuit says West hired someone else to harass her. This person reportedly reported fake emergencies, and ordered false services and deliveries to her home.

Kanye West has not yet responded to these latest accusations from Pisciotta. However, he previously denied her initial claims. Last year, West’s lawyers released a statement. They said West would sue Pisciotta, calling her accusations baseless. His legal team also claimed Pisciotta stole his phone after being fired. They said she did this to delete call records that would disprove her claims, but stated all records were saved. West also said Pisciotta was fired because she was "not qualified" for the job.

Us Weekly has attempted to reach West for a comment on the new allegations.
