Kansas City Chiefs: Schedule, games and dates for the 2023 NFL season

The 2023 season of the National Football League It will start with the last survivor of the previous campaign: the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Arrowhead team will open the league calendar at home when they face on September 7 at the Detroit Lions in a rivalry with little history.

As part of the triple billboard prepared for Christmas, the Raiders will meet the Las Vegas Raiders on December 25 at 1:00 p.m.

In addition to hosting the season opener, they will welcome the Bengals in an AFC Championship rematch on Sunday, December 31, New Year’s Eve.

That game is scheduled to start at 4:25 p.m. ET.

As part of the NFL’s efforts to expand football into new territories outside of the United States, theThe Chiefs will travel to Frankfurt to face the Miami Dolphins on November 5 in one of the two commitments that the NFL established in Germany.

The Chiefs originally received the rights from the International Domestic Marketing Area (IHMA) for Germany and Mexico in December 2021 as part of the global growth of the game.

With 24,164 miles, the Chiefs are the eighth most traveled team during the season, traveling across 30 time zones.

The Chiefs will host the Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football on November 20. When those teams meet in Kansas City, it will be only the second Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football. The other: Week 9 of 1997 between the Packers and Patriots.

The Kansas City Chiefs have six games in primetime, but it could go up or down due to scheduling flexibility.

The Chiefs have two Sunday Nights, two Monday Nights and two Thursday Nights including Kickoff.

Among the most difficult games are: November 20 against Philadelphia Eagles, December 10 against Buffalo Bills; December 31 against the Cincinnati Bengals and the visit to Los Angeles against Charfers on January 6 or 7.
