Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away, was hospitalized after a heart attack

Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday. He was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bangalore after suffering a heart attack. He was known as a Kannada superstar. Puneet was the son of the late actor Rajkumar and was popularly known as ‘Appu’ among fans.

Cricketer Venkatesh tweeted and said: ‘Puneet Rajkumar has passed away. My condolences to his family, friends and fans. Praying to the fans to keep the peace and support his family. Dr Ranganath Nayak from Vikram Hospital in Bangalore said actor Puneet Rajkumar was admitted to a private hospital at 11.30am after chest pain. His condition remained critical. When they took him to the hospital, his condition was bad. Puneet Rajkumar was treated in ICU, but could not be saved.

Let us tell you, famous TV host Puneet Rajkumar started his career as a child artist. His name is included in the list of the highest paid actors in the film industry of Kannada. In 1986, he received the National Children’s Artist Award for Superhit and later Bett Hoovu.
