Actress Kangana Ranaut shares her parents’ reaction after seeing her upcoming movie ‘Thalaivi’. By sharing a photo of her parents on Instagram Story, the actress posted how they reacted. In the photo, her parents are seen making ‘V’ finger gestures.
The actress wrote: “Mom Dad said after watching the movie with the Thalaivi hashtag, congratulations on the fifth national award.”
Kangana paid tribute Thursday morning to the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and former actress J. She shared a picture from a biopic based on the life of Jayalalithaa, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Along with the image, she wrote: “Two years ago, I embarked on a journey to play one of India’s most iconic women on screen. There were many obstacles and challenges in our path, but what made me stand out. team and me was our passion for work.
“This Friday, our film will finally reach its audience, watch it at your nearest theater. I am already overwhelmed with the wonderful reviews the film has received.”
The film describes various aspects of Jayalalithaa’s life, from her journey as an actress to becoming the face of Tamil cinema at a young age, as well as her rise to being a revolutionary leader who changed the course of state politics.
It is slated to hit theaters on September 10.
