Kabul: Explosion outside Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque, 4 people were killed

Four people were killed in a bomb blast outside the Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

According to foreign news agencies, an explosion occurred outside a mosque in Kabul after Friday prayers.

Wazir Akbar Khan Masjid is few kilometers away from Green Zone. There were conflicting reports about the nature of the explosion.

After the explosion in social media, vehicles can be seen engulfed in flames outside the mosque.

The Italian hospital in Kabul said that four people who were injured in the blast were brought to the hospital, four of whom died. A total of 14 people were brought to the hospital.

Kabul Police Spokesman Khalid Zardan confirmed the explosion, but did not provide final information on casualties.
