Juventus is reportedly unwilling to transfer struggling forward Jonathan David to rival AC Milan, even as the Canadian international faces an uncertain future with the Turin club.
Italian media outlet MediaSet indicated that Juventus officials see any move to Milan as “completely out of the question.” The club does not want to strengthen a competitor during a crucial period of the season.
David, 25, joined Juventus just six months ago on a free transfer from French club Lille. He has since struggled to establish himself within the Turin squad.
Following reports of his potential departure in the upcoming transfer window, Italian press quickly linked him to AC Milan.
However, these rumors were swiftly dismissed. English clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham, had also reportedly shown interest in the forward.
