Juventus are close to completing a sale for 20 million

Juventus are on course to carry out a crucial transfer operation in this summer market and are close to completing a sale that could reach €20m with the departure of Denis Zakaria. The Swiss midfielder, who is not part of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, is close to a move to AS Monaco, who would pay the amount to secure the talented player’s services.

La Vecchia Signora is in a financial position that requires sales to balance their economic situation after being banned from European competitions following a UEFA sanction. In this regard, the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa have been mentioned as potential transfer options to generate significant revenue.

Having only made the acquisitions of Timothy Weah and Facundo González so far, Juventus has committed more than €65m for previously agreed purchase options such as those of Manuel Locatelli or Moise Kean. Now the club are focused on completing the sale of Denis Zakaria, a defensive midfielder who has no place in current plans.

The fate of the Swiss seems to lie in France, specifically at AS Monaco. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Principality team are ready to invest €20m to ensure the takeover of Zakaria, who was on loan at Chelsea last season.

For Juventus, the operation would be a huge capital gain as Zakaria joined the club in January 2022 for just over €10m. With this upcoming move, the Italian team is taking an important step towards restoring its financial stability. The details of this transfer are expected to be announced in the next few hours, marking a major milestone in the Juventus transfer market’s quest to restore its financial balance.
