However, not all feedback was glowing. The first half of “Junior” was called average, while the second half was seen as emotional. Many X users shared critiques. A common complaint was the push to present Kireeti as a “hero” from the start. “When a film tries to highlight a debutant, it needs to be simple and effective,” one user commented. “Trying to project him as a big star will always backfire. ‘Junior’ is an all mixed fruit juice, with many films being brought in to make this one film with no proper character building or emotional… It just feels like a tiring exercise.”

Another user pointed out the film’s weak storyline. However, some fans were genuinely impressed with Kireeti’s performance as a newcomer. One X user called him a “showstopper.” They wrote, “His electrifying dance moves lit up the screen with unmatched energy & grace.
