Julia Roberts Shares Rare Baby Photo to Mark Twins’ 21st Birthday

Julia Roberts recently celebrated a significant milestone for her family. The acclaimed actress marked the 21st birthday of her twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, on Friday, November 28.

Roberts, 58, shared a rare throwback photo of her children as babies on Instagram. The image depicted Hazel and Phinnaeus sitting side-by-side in high chairs, enjoying cake. Blue and pink gift bags were visible behind them.

"These game changers, life transformers, ❤️ expanders were once 1 and are now 21. That went fast! 😭 Happy birthday, my darlings 🎉💥⚡🎁," Roberts wrote in the emotional caption.

The post quickly garnered heartfelt messages from fans and fellow celebrities. One commenter wrote, "This photo😭. Happiest of birthdays to the best 💛💛." Actress Ali Wentworth added, "Happy birthday to the best! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Roberts shares Hazel and Phinnaeus with her husband, Danny Moder. The couple also has a younger son, Henry, who is 18.

The milestone follows recent discussions from Roberts about her children’s transition to college. In October, she spoke about her experience as an empty-nester on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

"It’s so fun. The truth is, it’s all so delicious and my kids… I know everyone thinks their kids are great… well. I think my kids are great," she joked. "I just love being with them and spending time together, and luckily, we’ve had a lot of visits during this empty-nest stage."

Roberts also offered parenting insights during a September interview with longtime friend George Clooney for 72 Magazine. Clooney, a father of 8-year-old twins, asked about instilling values in children.

Roberts emphasized the importance of parental alignment. "Danny and I are completely aligned in our core values, and it’s always been that way," she stated. She noted that young children primarily learn what their parents allow them to know.

Her key advice to Clooney was simple: "Don’t be afraid." She reassured him that children do not suddenly become "monsters" at 13 or 16.

"You just have to hang in there, things change, and then everything falls back into place," Roberts explained. "It’s a magnificent thing to be part of this family."

Moder recently shared another glimpse into their family life. In May, he posted a smiling photo of Roberts and their three children on Instagram for Mother’s Day. "Moms do the coolest things. I love these kids," he captioned the image.
