The Dominican Juan Vila Reynoso has been re-elected vice president of the Association of Sports Confederations of America (ACODEPA) at the Ordinary General Assembly of the Organization held at the Holiday Inn Miraflores hotel in Lima, Peru.
In addition to being re-elected as ACODEPA’s vice presidency, Vila Reynoso was elected as president of the organization’s Sports Principles and Values Commission.
Vila Reynoso, who is the head of ITTF Americas, had been appointed to the commission in 2020, through a communication signed by the ACODEPA executive committee, during the extraordinary session of the organization held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“I appreciate the trust that the ACODEPA executive committee has placed in me to lead such an important commission. Our purpose is to assume this commitment with the highest degree of responsibility”, said the Dominican Vila.
The Principles and Values commission, one of several created by ACODEPA’s executive committee, will last two years and is made up of three members.
The sports leader pointed out that he will continue to work on the corresponding tasks of the ACODEPA Sports Principles and Values Commission, a function he assumes for the second time.
After the Association of Sports Confederations of America, Juan Vila left for South Africa, to the meeting of the World Council.
