Jr NTR said – he will walk the red carpet with the whole country in his heart

Superstar NTR Jr says the steps to his iconic number ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the movie ‘RRR’ weren’t difficult, it was hard to time the song. For this song, he and his co-star used to practice for 3 hours every day. His feet still hurt from filming the song.

In an interview for Entertainment Tonight, NTR Jr was asked if he thought this movie would cross all global lines and be loved by everyone. In response to the question, the actor said, I don’t know, but the experience of filming the song, I’ve been saying this… My feet still hurt.

The dance steps weren’t difficult, but what was difficult was the ‘timing’. We used to practice dance every day for three hours. We used to rehearse it during the filming of that song. We rehearsed for that song a week before the shoot and we were also rehearsing on the set. It was just for timing.

How does it feel to add an Academy Award nominee to your list of accomplishments? NTR Jr responded with a smile: What more can an actor ask for, what more can a filmmaker ask for to be part of the biggest film festival in the world, the Oscars? He said that the big day is when one gets the chance to walk the red carpet not as an actor, but as an Indian.

He said, for that day, I don’t think we’ll walk around like ‘RRR’ actors. I am going to walk on the red carpet as an Indian, it is a pride for me, my country is in my heart.
