The rumor mill is spinning fast around Mehdi Taremi. This Iranian forward, who once lit up the pitch for FC Porto, is almost certainly leaving Inter Milan. Everyone is wondering where he’ll land next. A fresh start seems to be on the cards for him, with a few different possibilities emerging.
Hatam Shiralizadeh, a journalist, often has the inside scoop on Taremi and other Iranian players in Europe. He recently shared his thoughts with Tribuna.com. Shiralizadeh seemed to lean heavily towards a move to a Dutch club. He really knows his stuff when it comes to these transfers.
“Anything can happen, even a shock return to Inter,” Shiralizadeh admitted. “But honestly, the most realistic option right now is PSV Eindhoven.” He laid out a few key reasons for this. PSV plays in the Champions League, which is a big deal for any top player. They also have the money to cover a good chunk of Taremi’s salary. And here’s a juicy bit: the agents for PSV’s coach, Peter Bosz, and Taremi’s own representatives are very good friends. “That personal connection could really help make a deal happen,” he concluded.
When asked about the recent whispers linking Taremi to Panathinaikos, the journalist was pretty direct. “Clubs from that specific region of Europe are usually the last choice for players like Taremi,” Shiralizadeh stated. He even grouped him with another Iranian star, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who plays for Heerenveen. It seems some destinations just don’t have the same pull for these high-caliber talents.
