Jose Mourinho: A ‘finish’ that continues to make history

The AS Rome was crowned champion of the first edition of the UEFA Conference League to the defeat Feyenoord, who tried by all means to take the game to extra time. And José Mourinho has once again made history as a world-class coach, lifting a new title for his showcase.

The Portuguese, who arrived at the team from the Italian capital in the summer, led the team to the top and won its first international title in its entire history (although many count the 1961 Fairs Cup). An important fact for one of the most important clubs in Italy, who have not won a European tournament since Inter Milan won the UEFA Champions League in 2010.

A coach who continues to make history

On the other hand, José Mourinho maintains his record of triumphs in European finals and became the first coach to win all three UEFA competitions in its entire history.

-Won the 2002/03 UEFA Cup and the 2003/04 Champions League with Porto

-Won the 2009/10 Champions League with Inter Milan

-Won the 2016/17 Europa League with Manchester United

-Won the 2021/22 UEFA Conference League with AS Roma.

Despite the fact that many considered him dead, Mourinho has shown that he is still in a position to manage the best teams and win important titles, taking into account that he came to a project that needed to be rebuilt to return to the top.
