Jordon Hudson References Taylor Swift in Bill Belichick Breakup Song Query

Jordon Hudson, known for her romance with legendary coach Bill Belichick, recently had some fun on social media. While flying high over Bar Harbor, Maine, the 23-year-old shared a thought with her followers. She was listening to Taylor Swift’s ‘So Long, London,’ a song many believe is about Swift’s split from her ex, Joe Alwyn.

This got Hudson thinking about her own public relationship. She wondered, "If Bill and I ever broke up, would he write a song with Taylor Swift?" Her imaginary song title was just a bunch of funny sounds: "buh-bah baa ha ba." She posted this musing on her Instagram story on Sunday, July 13. Her message came with a short video of her looking out an airplane window, wearing sunglasses.

Hudson is a big Taylor Swift fan, a "Swiftie" as they’re called. Her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, is 73 years old. Their relationship became public in October 2024. Before that, rumors had been swirling for months. Belichick is famous for coaching the New England Patriots for 24 seasons. He led them to six Super Bowl wins. He and the Patriots parted ways in January 2024. Then, in December 2024, he was announced as the new head football coach at the University of North Carolina.

Hudson’s love for Swift shows up in more than just jokes. In April, she took a page right from Swift’s playbook. The 34-year-old pop star often re-records her old music. Hudson applied for 14 trademarks on behalf of Belichick on April 3. These included phrases like "No Days Off," "Do Your Job," and "Ignore the Noise." The Patriots and their owner, Robert Kraft, currently own these sayings.

To avoid existing ownership, Hudson added "(Bill’s Version)" to the end of each trademark phrase. This was a direct nod to Taylor Swift’s own re-recordings of her albums. Swift began re-recording her music after Scooter Braun bought her original song catalog.

It turns out Belichick himself has some Swiftie credit. In July 2024, he went to Swift’s "Eras Tour" concert in Amsterdam. He was seen there with Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Kelce, of course, is Swift’s current boyfriend. When Hudson and Belichick first went public in October 2024, Belichick was even wearing an "Eras Tour" sweatshirt. Hudson shared photos of him in it on Instagram.

For months, Hudson openly shared details of their relationship on social media. But lately, she’s kept a lower profile. This change happened after a controversial interview with Belichick on CBS Sunday Morning in April. During Belichick’s chat with journalist Tony Dokoupil, Hudson intervened from off-camera. Dokoupil had asked her boyfriend to explain how they met as a couple. "We are not talking about this," Hudson quickly said.

After that interview, sports journalist Pablo Torre reported some things. He claimed Hudson had been banned from the University of North Carolina sports facilities. The university, however, has denied this claim. Torre also guessed that Hudson might have lied about her true age. A well-known publication reached out to Hudson for her side of the story on these accusations.
