A tense day was lived on the second day of activities with the duel between the Dominican Republic and Cuba in the Jorge Luis García Carneiro de Macuto park in La Guaira with victory for the Tigres de Licey to the sound of 3 runs against 1.
The Dominican Republic broke the scoreless tie with a three-run attack in the third inning. Luis Barrera scored on a throw from the catcher who tried to surprise him, but the throw was bad and that opened the door for 1-0.
