The Ministry of Defense of Russia has said that Russia has officially started the Vostok 2022 exercise, which includes the forces of 14 countries and their observers.

According to the report of the foreign news agency, the statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense said that military and military observers from 14 countries, including Russia, China, India and Azerbaijan, are participating in the Vostok 2022 exercises.

According to the sources, 50,000 soldiers, 140 aircraft and 60 warships including more than 5,000 weapons and military equipment are included in these exercises conducted in 7 shooting ranges of Russia, Sea of ​​Okhotsk and Sea of ​​Japan.

The aforementioned exercises are under the supervision of the Russian General Staff Headquarters and their goal is to ensure peace and military security in the east of the country. These exercises will continue till September 7.
