John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcome their fourth child five months after welcoming their third

This Wednesday, the musician John Legend and the actress chrissy teigen announced the birth of their fourth child, Wren Alexander Stephens, through surrogacy or surrogacy.

Wren Alexander Stephens was born on June 19 and comes five months after his sister Esti Maxine Stephens, born in mid-January.

Teigen talked about her dream of having four children and how she decided to give it one last try after suffering a miscarriage, during her fifth month of pregnancy in October 2020, and having her rainbow baby (children born after the death of a previous child). The mother-of-four underwent IVF the same time she contacted the surrogacy agency.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four kids. As a child, 2 fireflies and 2 cabbage dolls were perpetually in my arms, helping me rummage through my make-believe kitchen, watching Alf with me,” Teigen wrote.

“In 2021, we contacted a surrogacy agency, with our first correspondence asking about perhaps having 2 tandem surrogates, each bringing us a healthy boy or girl. Twins, something like that?”

Lastly, Teigen thanked the surrogate, named Alexandra, for the “incredible gift,” and she responded, “It was an honor.”

“Thank you for choosing me and for making this whole experience wonderful. For loving me and my family with all your hearts. It was a true honor to bring Wren into the world, with you by my side,” Alexandra said.
