August is turning out to be quite the party for movie buffs! While some exciting films hit theaters, the streaming world is also buzzing with new releases. One film grabbing headlines for its online debut is John Abraham’s ‘Tehran’. The trailer for this suspense-packed thriller just dropped today, Friday, August 1st.
The film is set to premiere on OTT platforms on August 14th. Fans can catch all the action on ZEE5. The trailer, which shows John Abraham battling terrorists, was released on Zee Studios’ YouTube channel. He steps into the shoes of a police officer, showcasing his signature action style.
Reports say ‘Tehran’ is based on a true event. The trailer kicks off with a voice-over that sets a serious tone. It declares, “This is an international matter, blasts have happened in three countries. This is the work of terrorists, and we have to expose them. Where is Rajeev Kumar?” Right after, we get our first glimpse of John Abraham. He’s clearly in his element, bringing his police officer character to life with intense action.
John delivers some powerful lines in the trailer. At one point, he states, “When one soldier kills another soldier, it’s about the country. But when a terrorist takes an innocent life, it becomes very personal.” Another striking dialogue heard is, “Until the hands that plant bombs are cut off, India will not be taken seriously.”
Arun Gopalan directed the film, with Dinesh Vijan serving as the producer. The trailer has earned positive feedback from viewers. Many fans are even wishing the movie had been released in theaters, eager to see John’s action hero avatar on the big screen.
