John Abraham Defends India’s Minority Safety Record Proudly

The Bollywood actor John Abraham has been making headlines lately due to a statement he made about minorities in the country. When asked if minorities are safe in India, he replied that being part of a minority community himself, he has never felt more secure. Abraham, who comes from a mixed background – his mother is Parsi and his father is a Syrian Christian – emphasized that his nationality is what truly matters to him. “As an actor, people might argue and say, ‘Hey, listen, you’re an actor, you’re bound to be liked or disliked for various reasons.’ But I’m a minority, and I’ve never felt safer than I do in my own country,” he said.

I Love My Country, and I Feel Safe Here

Abraham further expressed his love and affection for his country, stating that he feels incredibly secure in India. He believes that those who try to use his minority status as a scapegoat should take note of his experiences. “I’m a living example of someone who belongs to a minority community, and yet, I’ve never faced any issues,” he pointed out. Abraham’s statement highlights the importance of promoting unity and acceptance, rather than perpetuating division and fear.

Proud to Be an Indian

When discussing his own background, Abraham couldn’t help but express his pride in being an Indian. “I don’t know who would have a problem with Parsis,” he said with a chuckle. “As for me, I feel extremely safe in this country, and I take great pride in being an Indian. In fact, I like to think that I’m one of the most Indian people out there – I feel like I carry the Indian flag with me wherever I go.” This sense of national pride and belonging is a sentiment that many Indians can relate to, and Abraham’s willingness to speak out about his experiences is a testament to the country’s diverse and vibrant cultural landscape.
