Joel Parra, best youngster of the course

Joel Parra has been chosen as the Best Youngster of the Endesa League. The Joventut forward has been the most voted by fans, journalists and players and the third that has received the most support among the coaches. He has finished with 85 points. The black-and-green succeeds Usman Garubawinner of the last edition and now in the NBA.

Parra, who turned 32 in April, average this season 8.5 points and 4.1 rebounds for 9.7 rating and has surpassed the power forward of Valencia Basket Jaime Pradilla (50 points) and the base of Urbas Fuenlabrada Ziga Samar (48), the preferred by the coaches. The Barça point guard completes the ideal quintet of the season Rockas Jokubaitis and the center of Gran Canaria Khalifa Diop.

“I would like to thank the club, the team, the staff, my family… everyone! I am very happy and proud to win it: it means a lot to me“, commented Joel Parra, who considers that it would not have been possible without his teammates. “Reaching the first team was a prize for me, so being an important player and winning an award like this… neither I nor my family imagined it“.
