Joe Root flopped in front of Team India! England had expressed its utmost confidence in Indian conditions

Joe Root has looked like a flop so far in the Test series against India. Even in the third Test, played in Rajkot, the English batsmen were unable to do anything. In England’s first innings, Root was eliminated after scoring 18 runs in 31 balls with the help of just two fours. This was not the first time in the series that Root was eliminated after a poor result. Root, who has batted in five innings so far, has not crossed the 30-run mark even once.

Root is an English batsman who has a lot of experience playing in Indian conditions. England may have expressed the utmost confidence in Root to play in Indian conditions but so far they have failed to live up to the team’s trust. Root also flopped in the third Test in a row. In the third Test played at Rajkot, where England’s Ben Duckett played a brilliant innings of 153 runs, Root could not even cross the 20-run mark.

Root has flopped in all three tests so far. In the first match of the series, played in Hyderabad, Root scored 29 and 2 runs respectively. Furthermore, in the second match in Visakhapatnam, Root scored 5 and 16 runs respectively. In the third Test played at Rajkot, Root could score only 18 runs in the first innings (of England).

Root has played 137 Tests in his career so far in which he scored 11468 runs at an average of 49.64 while batting in 251 innings. During this period he scored 30 centuries and 60 half-centuries, with his high score being 254 runs.
