The fifth and final Ashes Test between Australia and England is being played at London’s Kennington Oval. After the completion of two match days, both teams find themselves in a weak position. The England fast bowler can be seen on video taking the catch from Australian Marnus Labuschagne as he stands on the root slip of Mark Wood’s ball. Root dives in and catches the catch with his left hand. This Root capture was being done on view.
Slow tackles by Marnus Labushen ended with this Root catch. Labushen returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs off 82 balls. Batting first, Australia lost the second wicket to Labushen’s form. Root caught this catch on the fifth ball of the 43rd in the first inning.

Two days of the fifth Test of the Ashes have been completed. In the match, Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. England, batting first, scored 283 runs. For the team, Harry Brook played the largest innings of 85 runs on 91 balls aided by 11 fours and 2 sixes. During this Australia’s Mitchell Starc took 4, Todd Murphy took 2 and Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets. Apart from this, Mitchell Marsh and Captain Pat Cummins got a 1-1 success.
In response, the Australian team, coming out to bat in the first innings, launched for 295 runs. Steve Smith played the biggest innings of 71 runs for the team with the help of 6 fours.
