the president of USA, Joe Biden, suffered a fall from his bicycle this Saturday morning while strolling the streets of Rehoboth Beach, in Del.. After the incident, witnessed by a group of citizens who were in that area, the president got up and assured that he was fine.
Some present captured the moment after the fall with their cell phones and recorded the head of state as he stood among a worried crowd. In a video he is heard saying “I’m fine”and is later seen thanking the citizens for their help.
According to the AFP agencyBiden, who was biking near his vacation home with his wife, Jill Biden, it had stuck with the toe of the right pedal.
Prior to the accident, the US president had greeted a group of journalists who followed him through the streets during his walk.
Joe Biden was enjoying a brief vacation at his home in Delaware, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of his marriage to the first lady, after having participated on Friday of this week in the Forum of the Major Economies on Energy and Climatea virtual conference with the world’s leading economies, including China, Egypt – host of the next UN meeting on climate change – Germany, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and members of the European Union.
