The central Jineiry Martínez of the Dominican Republic was named the MVP Most Valuable Player of the Women’s Volleyball Tournament of the twenty-fourth Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
Jineiry Martínez received the recognition of MVP and the 1st Best Blocker during the closing ceremony after “Las Reinas del Caribe” won their Sixth consecutive Gold Medal in the Central American Games.
The Dominican Republic also received the awards for 1st Best Spiker for Brayelin Martínez, 2nd Best Blocker for Geraldine González, Best Setter for Niverka Marte, Best Opposite and Best Scorer for Gaila González, and Best Receiver for Brenda Castillo.
Elaine Vazquez of Puerto Rico, who won the Jousting silver medal, was named the 2nd Best Spiker.
The Colombian Juliana Toro was distinguished with the awards for Best Libero and Best Defense; and the Mexican Jocelyn Urías for Best Service
