Jessie J gave birth to her first child, she announced this Thursday morning through a post on her Instagram, after suffering a miscarriage in November 2021.
Although the singer planned a natural birth, they had to perform a caesarean section, since her firstborn had an incorrect position and was stuck due to its large size, but she is grateful that the birth ended successfully.
“I spent 9 months preparing for a natural birth.
Strict eating, epinephrine, yoga, swimming, hypnobirthing methods. She had a tens machine, a birthing comb, she wanted a pool birth ideally without drugs,” she wrote in a video made five minutes before her surgery in which she is seen dancing.
“I had a scan on a 40 week off days and he was completely backwards and stuck because he was a little fatter than your average and long. I tried my best to try to turn him for 2 months but he said ‘No mom I want to make an entrance through the roof, not through the front door,'” he added.
Due to this situation, Jessie was advised to opt for “a planned caesarean section” and assured that she was not disappointed for not having given birth to her son naturally because “I had a birth and it was everything I wanted because I got it in the end, That’s all that matters”.
