Jennifer Aniston recently sparked romance rumors during a relaxing vacation in Mallorca, Spain. The beloved 56-year-old actress was spotted getting cozy with Jim Curtis on the sunny Spanish island. Photos from Daily Mail show the pair enjoying some downtime over the July 4th weekend.
The images painted a clear picture of their closeness. Aniston was seen placing her hand on Curtis’s thigh as they chatted on a terrace. They were also joined by some famous friends by the sea. In another sweet moment, Curtis gently put his hand on Aniston’s neck and stroked her hair. They seemed to be looking at something together on her phone.
More tender gestures followed. Curtis, who is known as a hypnotist and wellness expert, was photographed rubbing Aniston’s shoulders. He also held her hand several times while they walked. One blurry photo showed two dark figures hugging, leading a witness to believe they were kissing. Aniston looked chic in a simple black dress and sunglasses, while Curtis wore a black button-up shirt and black shorts.
It turns out these public displays of affection were a preview of news to come. Just days after their Mallorca trip, Us Weekly confirmed that Aniston and Curtis are indeed a couple. A source told the publication, "They are being very private, but they spend a lot of time together. They are happy and like each other very much."
The couple reportedly met through mutual friends. Their vacation in the Balearic Islands wasn’t just a romantic getaway for two. They were joined by a star-studded group of pals. Among them were Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. Courteney Cox, Olivia Wilde, and Amy Schumer also reportedly spent time with them in Mallorca, according to Daily Mail.
Aniston’s love life has been kept pretty quiet since her split from Justin Theroux. The two tied the knot in 2015 but ended their marriage three years later. They announced their separation in a joint statement to Us Weekly, saying they were "two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple." They added that they hoped to stay good friends.
Despite the breakup, a source close to Aniston shared in 2018 that she had not "given up on love." The source noted that it’s "not like her to give up or be negative." They added that she would "love to meet someone and fall in love again." She wasn’t trying to force anything, but she was open to dating. Aniston herself stated in an August 2018 interview with InStyle that she wasn’t "heartbroken" after her divorce. She also pushed back against rumors about what happened behind closed doors. She said people didn’t understand what she went through medically or emotionally. Before Theroux, Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.
