Farhan Akhtar cleared things up during a chat with “Our Stupid Reactions.” He was directly asked if the film, with Alia, Priyanka, and Katrina, had been stopped. Farhan didn’t like the idea of saying it was “stopped.” He explained that it’s simply “on hold” for now. He firmly believes the film will eventually get made. “It has a fantastic script,” he shared, adding, “It’s just paused right now.”
What About the Cast?
When it comes to the specific actors, Farhan Akhtar said he doesn’t have any new information right now. He couldn’t comment further on who will be in the film when it eventually goes into production. However, he stressed again that the film will definitely happen. He also revealed that a good amount of work has already been completed. This includes finding locations and making progress on the music.

Back in 2023, Farhan talked with Variety about the main issue. He mentioned that the biggest problem was simply lining up dates for everyone involved. He admitted, “I don’t know what can happen and what cannot.” This is why he now truly believes that “this film has its own destiny.” He thinks it will be made when the time is right, whenever that may be.
