According to Al-Arabiya.net, a Pakistani worker in Jeddah allegedly ate a layer of cement in an attempt to commit suicide, which froze in the layers of his stomach and intestines.
In a state of severe pain, he was taken to the emergency ward of King Abdulaziz Hospital for treatment, where the medical staff took various X-rays and decided to operate immediately. Doctors finally saved the life of the Pakistani by clearing the cement layer from the stomach after a 3 hour long operation.
The Pakistani man who tried to kill himself is said to be 30 years old. According to doctors, his condition is now out of danger after the operation.
