Javi Guerra decides his future in Valencia

Valencia CF's talented midfielder Javi Guerra has revealed his plans for the future in the Mestalla team. Gilet native Guerra has expressed his desire to stay with the club for “as many years as possible”, highlighting the importance the club has had in his life and in achieving his childhood dream.

“Of course I would like to stay here for as many years as possible. This is the club that has given me everything and that has allowed me to fulfill the dream that I have had since I was a child. I am very happy here, in my city, together with my family and my people. The truth is that I couldn't ask for anything more,” the player said in an interview with OneFootball.

The youth player made his commitment to Valencia CF clear on January 3 after the win against Villarreal. With a current contract, he expressed his intention to remain with the team until the end of the season. “If they don’t throw me away, it’s my idea to continue here,” he added.

Important and committed

Even if Javi Guerra didn't have his best moment of the season, he has quickly become one of the team's mainstays. Last season he played a crucial role in Valencia's fight against relegation and this year he wants to assert his importance in the team. His commitment to the club is reflected in his recent contract extension, which ties him to Valencia CF until June 30, 2027.
