Japan Man Arrested for Crashing into Schoolchildren, Injuring 7, Cites Life Boredom

A 28-year-old man was arrested in Osaka, Japan, after driving into a group of schoolchildren, injuring seven.
The suspect, who lives in Tokyo, was charged with attempted murder.
He admitted to the crime, saying he was fed up with life and wanted to kill someone.

Witnesses described the suspect’s car weaving back and forth before hitting the children.
A girl was bleeding, and others had scrapes.
All seven children were taken to the hospital conscious.
One witness told Nippon TV that the driver wore a mask and seemed shocked when a teacher pulled him out of the car.
The incident happened in the Nishinari district as the children were walking home from school.
The suspect’s motives appear to be linked to his feelings of frustration and discontent with life.
